Dale Beasey

 

Dale Beasey has been employed in the Security Industry since 1989. He works for a Las Vegas hotel and casino security department and is responsible for the supervision of over 70 Officers, Supervisors and Shift Managers.

One of the founding Instructors of the corporation’s Security Training Academy, which serves five individual properties, he developed most of the Academy’s training curriculum, regularly teaches courses such as Use of Force, Laws of Arrest and Officer Safety and wrote the majority of the corporation’s Security Departments Rules, Regulations and Procedures Manual.

Dale joined the Boulder City (Nevada) Police Department in 1994. He served as a sworn Reserve Police Officer, was the departments Use of Force Instructor from 2001 through 2003, was a certified background investigator and conducted all of the department’s pre-employment backgrounds for Cadets, Reserves and full-time Officers. He left the department in 2002 as a Reserve Lieutenant.

As a certified Nevada Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Police Instructor since 2001, he is a regularly scheduled guest Instructor in a local P.O.S.T. Academy where he teaches Use of Force to Police recruits.

In addition to Use of Force, Dale is a certified A.S.P., O.C. Spray, Verbal Judo, Handcuffing and Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor. He is also a certified O.C.A.T. (pepper spray) Instructor Trainer.

Dale has had Police and training related articles published in “The O.C.A.T. Authority”, “The Police Marksman” and “Law and Order Magazine”.
