Bill Eramo
Mr. Eramo is
PPSC's highly valued light measurement technician. He has over 30 years
experience in electro-optics, with particular expertise focused upon the
design and application of light measurement devices.
Bill made entry into this field by working 5 years with RA Brower of
Brower Laboratories. Inc, a pioneer in the development of “Lock-In”
instrumentation to extract optical radiation imbedded in noise.
Customers included the National Bureau of Standards (now NIST), NASA,
Night Vision Lab, Naval Research Lab and the U.S. Air Force.
He started DLG Associates in 1971 to specialize in light measurement
applications, and to represent the industry leaders (Gamma Scientific,
Photo Research, and Optronic Labs) in light measurements from UV, to IR.
Bill's
expertise is of critical importance in the vast majority of police
shootings, which occur under less than ideal light conditions. His
ability to forensically quantify the spectral range, as well as the
degree of light intensity, is an invaluable asset in the investigation
of officer-involved shootings. |
